We are a dynamic team of maintenance professionals within the ZF Group, dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of our plant equipment and site. Our team works collaboratively to maximize machine uptime while minimizing unplanned downtime, focusing on preventative and reactive maintenance of CNC machines, assembly processes, and robotics.
The successful candidate will work a double-day shift pattern, contributing to a 24-hour operation with a permanent night shift. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, driving efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to breakdowns with extensive fault finding, utilizing both electrical and mechanical expertise.
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance of CNC machinery and various assembly equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of CNC machinery and assembly equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Support maintenance and factory-based improvement projects, driving process improvements and cost reductions.
- Complete service reports and internal systems via our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (electrical, mechanical, mechatronics), ideally with a Higher National Certificate (HNC) qualification.
- Electrically biased, with a proven ability to work in both electrical and mechanical fields.
- Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Experience with CMMS systems, particularly SAP, is preferred.
- PLC experience is advantageous, with knowledge of Kuka robotics a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, promoting openness, mutual respect, and collaborative working.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
