Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading food manufacturing company based in Tipton. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial food production machinery, including ovens, mixers, packaging machinery, and conveyors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery
  • Identify and rectify faults on machinery to minimize downtime
  • Work with the production team to resolve any issues that may arise during production
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Electrical and Mechanical hands-on experience
  • Experience working with PLCs
