The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are now recruiting a Specialist Midwife to join our Antenatal and Newborn Screening team. As a Specialist Midwife, you will be responsible for coordinating care and delivering genetic counselling for women who are carriers of Sickle Cell, Thalassemia, and other Haemoglobinopathies.

You will work closely with the clinical leads for Antenatal and Newborn Screening and Fetal Medicine to develop and implement guidelines for the service. The successful candidate will have experience of counselling and teaching junior staff, as well as evidence of recent personal development activity.

We offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, flexible working hours, and opportunities for career progression. Our annual salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000-£65,000, depending on experience.
