Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Richard Everson Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of OEM branded equipment, including Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Bell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and local preparation of equipment
  • Perform brake testing and order necessary parts for repair
  • Help and coach colleagues as needed
  • Complete all systems and paperwork for work performed
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of Heavy Construction Plant
  • Knowledge and experience of Tier 4 and 5 Engines, Regen & Adblue Systems
  • Proven technical competence on Diesel Engines, Regen Systems, Transmissions, Drive Lines, Hydraulics & Electrical Systems
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds and/or Equivalent in Engineering, Plant Maintenance, Agricultural/HGV Mechanics
Benefits:
  • Basic Rate: £17.16-£19.24 per hour (Monday-Friday, first 8 hours)
  • 1.5 x Rate: £25.74-£28.86 per hour (Monday-Friday, after 8 hours up until 12 hours; Saturday, first 4 hours)
  • 2.0 x Rate: £34.32-£38.48 per hour (Monday-Friday, after 12 hours; Saturday, after 4 hours; Sunday & Bank Holidays, all hours)
  • Hours: 07:00-15:30, Monday to Friday
  • Holidays: 20 days plus statutory bank holidays
  • Death in Service (2 x Salary), Pension (3% employer), Company Van & Fuel Card
