We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Richard Everson Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of OEM branded equipment, including Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Bell.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
  • Perform local preparation, brake testing, and other diagnostic procedures as required
  • Order and obtain necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely completion of work
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide technical support and coaching as needed
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for work performed

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant, including bulldozers, dump trucks, excavators, graders, and loading shovels
  • Knowledge and experience of Tier 4 and 5 engines, regen and Adblue systems
  • Proven technical competence in diesel engines, regen systems, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, and/or equivalent in engineering, plant maintenance, agricultural/HGV mechanics
