Job Summary:

Brightwork Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Director to lead our site and ensure that our team is fully trained to a high level of competency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure site operational KPIs are met or exceeded on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Review and take action to ensure targets are met or exceeded, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Plan and manage contractors on site, ensuring a safe system of works is adhered to and policies and procedures are followed.
  • Develop, maintain, and sign off all operational SOPs/RA and training documentation for operations, and develop and implement training plans for new operators.
  • Audit compliance to SOPs/RA and identify areas of risk, and assist with training new employees.
  • Responsible Person for site with Legionella control, ensuring site water and cooling towers are properly managed.
  • Responsible Person for site with HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions for systems and processes on all sites.
  • Provide cover to the Maintenance and Production Leader as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production environment in a modern dynamic business.
  • Ideal education to degree level/HND in an engineering/science discipline, with an accountancy bias.
  • Essential: qualified to HNC level in an engineering discipline, and Six Sigma or similar certification.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and excellent IT skills, especially advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace, with some knowledge of the industry/sector.
