Role: Health and Social Care Lecturer

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality education within a Higher Education setting, focusing on the Foundation year in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative teaching sessions across a range of Health and Social Care programs.
  • Provide personalized support to students, guiding them towards academic success and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance existing courses, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of students and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive learning materials, including module outlines, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and developments in the field of Health and Social Care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant subject area, such as Health and Social Care, Nursing, or Education.
  • Teaching qualifications, such as PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA.
  • Proven experience in lecturing at the Higher Education level, preferably in Health and Social Care.
  • Proficiency in using online learning platforms, such as Blackboard, MS Teams, and Zoom.
