Job Title: Family Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Health Practitioner to join our team at NHS. This is a salaried GP position, covering maternity leave, with a possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality medical care to our patients, adhering to local and national guidelines.
  • Provide services commensurate with the PMS contract, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Undertake telephone triage, face-to-face consultations, and duty doctor roles, as required.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, following best practices and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the implementation of quality initiatives and continuous improvement within the practice.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Autonomous decision-making in patient care, with a focus on presenting problems.
  • Assessing patient health needs, identifying disease risk factors, and early signs of illness.
  • Developing care plans in consultation with patients, aligned with current practice disease management protocols.
  • Providing counseling and health education, ensuring patient empowerment.
  • Compiling and issuing computer-generated prescriptions, adhering to best practices.
