Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Security Expert to join Arm's Product Security team. This role involves playing a key part in enhancing the security of Arm's software and processes, while contributing to building a strong security engineering culture across the organization.

  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments across Arm's firmware, drivers, and system software.
  • Review and advise on output from various Security Development Lifecycle (SDLC) stages, including threat modeling, security testing, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Enable engineering teams to implement various stages of Arm's SDLC independently.
  • Provide consultation on specific areas of software security and the application of SDLC to engineering teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and developments in software security.
  • Continuously improve Arm's approach to software security by refining software security best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and reviewing software threat models.
  • Experience in security concept design, mitigation analysis, and secure code reviews (C/C++).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, for automation purposes.
  • Experience with Software Composition Analysis using tools like Black Duck.
  • Familiarity with implementing Security Development Lifecycle in an organization.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive health insurance package, 401(k) matching, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
