Jagex is a thriving international games company with a growing library of forever game IPs for core gamers. We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Expert to join our team and help us ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

About the Position:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of our forever game IPs. You will have the chance to design and implement robust security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement robust security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of security measures and best practices for AWS and Azure environments.
  • Develop, document, and maintain security processes, incident response plans, and disaster recovery strategies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises.
  • Ability to lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with AWS services, containers, orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Security Center.
  • Familiarity with automated security processes such as CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure-as-code security, and automated patch management.
  • Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CISSP or equivalent.

  • A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
