Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Risk Engineer to join our team. We are a leading provider of recruitment services, with a strong focus on the energy sector.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with clients and colleagues to deliver effective risk management solutions. This will involve accurately representing the risk profile of client assets to the insurance market.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who has a strong background in process engineering, process safety management, operations management, construction project management, asset integrity management, and emergency response.


Responsibilities
  • Deliver surveys for oil and gas projects, providing technical information and support for insurance placement, tenders, and requests for proposals.
  • Improve process safety performance by recommending continued improvements through risk improvement recommendations and implementation of best practices.
  • Calculate estimated maximum loss values associated with major incidents using specialist software.
  • Work closely with a specialist team of client executives, brokers, and claims personnel to provide technical information and support.
  • Develop thought-leadership publications to support clients in their understanding and delivery of improvement in process safety management topics.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering subject (or similar) with extensive industry experience within the energy sector.
  • Effective communications skills, including delivering presentations and leading survey meetings.
  • Highly organized, able to achieve report deadlines and coordinate site visits across various countries.
  • An advanced engineering skill set, including process engineering, process safety management, operations management, construction project management, asset integrity management, and emergency response.
