Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Clinician - Highly Specialist OT/SALT to join our team at Hazel Cottage School in the North West. As a key member of our Clinical Team, you will be responsible for managing the in-house team, holding a therapy caseload, and coordinating line management of team members.

The successful candidate will have a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. A minimum of 3 years' experience working with Neurodivergent children is required, along with valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical skills. You will work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership team and Locality Clinical Lead to ensure high-quality care and support for students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the in-house Clinical Team, ensuring high-quality care and support for students with complex needs.
  • Hold a therapy caseload, providing specialist assessment and intervention plans for students with Autism and other types of neurodivergence.
  • Coordinate line management of team members, providing supervision and support to ensure effective teamwork.
