Business Opportunity Executive

VanRath have an exclusive partnership with a leading company in the Fastening field, offering fasteners, fixings, and bespoke parts. The company is recruiting for a Business Development Manager position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating leads and sales to grow the business within target areas.
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline.
- Developing an understanding of the business and its current and prospective products and services.
- Delivering sales and business development for existing and new customers of Apex Fastening Solutions.
- Establishing robust sales development processes.
- Maintaining all aspects of Apex Fastening Solutions CRM in respect of new and existing clients.
- Developing and delivering sales presentations and meetings.
- Managing existing client relationships to include additional sales to their account.
- Complying with all internal and external processes and quality systems relevant to the role.
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria:
- Field sales background ideal or senior sales wanting to make the move into the field.
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
- Be accountable, reliable, and hands-on.
Desired Criteria:
- Experience of working in fastenings/fixings and/or engineering consumables.
