Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate practitioner to join our inclusive school as a Teaching Assistant in the new SEN resource provision for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Job Description

This role requires a dynamic and engaging approach to supporting pupils with ASD or SEMH needs, utilizing innovative techniques to enhance learning outcomes.

You will work collaboratively with the SRP and mainstream staff to provide a responsive and flexible service, adhering to the instruction and advice of the provision lead.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs
  • Liaising with parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Preparing lessons, resources, and reports to demonstrate progress and impact
  • Fostering positive relationships with colleagues, students, and the wider community
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
