Job Summary

Service Care Education is looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to work in Primary and Secondary Schools on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students' academic growth and well-being, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support and one-on-one assistance to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Work with children who require additional help, adapting to different learning environments.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, utilizing strong behavior management skills.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting students in EYFS/KS1 to KS4.
  • Clear understanding of the National Curriculum and ability to apply it effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with teachers and students.
  • Passion for supporting students' academic growth and well-being.
  • Desirable: experience working with children with SEN and ability to adapt to changing situations.
