Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with patient registration, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls and correspondence. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct patients as they arrive for appointments
  • Process patient registration and demographic information
  • Schedule appointments and manage the practice's calendar
  • Handle phone calls and correspondence from patients and healthcare professionals
  • Update patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Customer Service experience
  • Call centre experience
  • General computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Receptionist and EMIS Web experience is an advantage but not essential
Working Arrangements
  • We offer part-time and full-time positions
  • We require a commitment to a full 2-week training plan
