This position involves working with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, specifically Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH), in a creative, flexible, and holistic manner to raise their engagement and improve their educational journey.

What we offer our SEND Teachers:

Responsibilities:

  • Planning engaging and effective teaching sessions.
  • Providing young people with holistic and engaging sessions that meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey.
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress.

Requirements:

  • Professional teaching qualifications (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, B.Ed, PTLLS, DTLLS, CELTA).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs, specifically SEMH.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.
  • Commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
