We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding school in Wandsworth. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), specifically those with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and associated difficulties.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of EHCPs and develop strategies to support students' individual needs.
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
- Relevant experience working with students with SEMH, SLCN, and associated difficulties is desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30, term time.
