Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Peer Support Team in the Community Transformation Team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Peer Support Lead and team members, including receiving and relaying messages, taking appropriate actions, and liaising with stakeholders, colleagues, and partners.
  • Undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties to support the work of the Peer Support Programme/Hub, including arranging project meetings, supporting leads in delivering engagement sessions, and collaborating with the trust Programme Management Office (PMO) team.
  • Assist in the development of materials for the team, including leaflets, communication materials, and presentations, and collate data for presentations.

Requirements
  • Educated to English 'O' Level or GCSE (Grade C).
  • Experience of mental health challenges with knowledge of peer support.
  • Educated to academic Level 3 (e.g., A Level, NVQ 3, City and Guilds) in a Business/Administration related subject or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata.
