Embedded Software POC Contract (6G) - Outside IR35 - Hybrid working in London

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software POC Contract Specialist to support the development of a 6G based Proof of Concept (PoC) for a leading research and innovation company based in London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in C/C++ embedded systems development and experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of networking protocols such as 3GPP, IEEE, and ETSI, as well as experience with the GNU framework. Previous experience with 5G, 5GNR, or OpenRAN systems is highly desirable.

This contract has been determined as Outside of IR35, offering a flexible and hybrid working arrangement in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for C/C++ based SDR platforms
  • Customize and integrate SDR platforms with 6G technology
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the SDR platform and embedded software

Requirements:

  • Strong background in C/C++ embedded systems development
  • Experience with SDR platforms and 6G technology
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as 3GPP, IEEE, and ETSI
  • Experience with the GNU framework
  • Previous experience with 5G, 5GNR, or OpenRAN systems
