About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a primary school Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs and helping them to achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students with SEN needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic goals. You will also work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Requirements
  • A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children who have additional needs, ideally with social and emotional trauma.
  • At least 6 months of experience within a Primary School setting.
  • An updated and clean DBS on the update service.
