Major Recruitment Oldbury is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join a professional engineering organization in Darlaston. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating 5 Axis Hurco machines and ROEDER using setting sheets, as well as conversational programming and operating Hurco 5-AXIS to produce precise components to specification using WinMax software. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in machining, with experience in Aerospace desirable. Hurco experience is essential, and the ability to program and work with minimal supervision is necessary. Experience with 3, 2, and 5 Axis Machining, as well as working with graphite, is beneficial. The role offers a 10-hour workday, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. Parking is provided. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, check their own work using measuring equipment, and complete one-offs and batch work to meet production requirements.
