Job Summary:

Major Recruitment Oldbury is seeking a skilled Production Machinist to join our team in a high-pressure machining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Jones & Shipman surface grinders, including the X & 1400X series.

Key Responsibilities:

Resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner

Operate Jones & Shipman X & 1400X series surface grinders

Work with Jones & Shipman Format5 CNC surface grinders (experience an advantage)

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 6am to 6pm

Requirements:

Experience working in a high-pressure machining environment

Ability to work with Jones & Shipman surface grinders

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
