Content Author

We are seeking a skilled Content Author to join our creative studio, where they will help build experiences that empower individuals with creative ideas to succeed.

The Content Author will work closely with developers, designers, digital strategists, and client stakeholders to select templates, modules, and components for building websites based on designs across the client's Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and will be proficient in using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS systems for content authoring and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze website designs and map them to appropriate AEM templates and components.
  • Collaborate proactively with the development team to implement sites based on design specifications.
  • Build and author websites, ensuring all content adheres to SEO standards.
  • Support the development team in preparing content for regulatory review, production launches, and asset management across a portfolio of websites.
  • Serve as a liaison between client stakeholders and development teams to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the tools and processes used to manage site content.
  • Identify opportunities for site improvements and continuously validate the user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on design considerations, offering advice on best practices for content strategy and overall site planning.
  • Develop training documentation to guide users in managing site content.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience contributing to enterprise-level websites, including migration and online production using AEM or other web content management systems.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS systems for content authoring and updates.
  • Proficiency with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and expertise in handling escalated situations.
  • Self-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work independently.
  • Confident and effective communicator across all business levels and client groups, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot front-end web functionality issues.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud UI/UX tools like Figma, InVision, Sketch, XD, and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with project tracking tools like Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
  • Proficiency in web UX conventions, standards, and best practices, including accessibility and SEO.
