About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our elderly care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the development of quality improvement projects, focusing on improving patient outcomes and reducing length of stay.
  • Work closely with the ward manager to ensure that the ward is running smoothly and that patients are receiving the best possible care.
  • Participate in clinical audits and research studies to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the NMC.
  • Degree or diploma in a health-related subject.
  • Substantial post-registration experience, preferably in a care of the elderly setting.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
