SEMH Mentor
">The SEMH Mentor will support individuals with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a fast-paced secondary school environment.
This role requires high levels of professionalism, adaptability, and vigilance to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and the smooth running of the school day.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with secondary-aged children and challenging individuals, possessing a degree in core subjects or similar. A driver's license is also preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying weaknesses, setting targets, and supporting students towards their progress and EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan).
Key skills and requirements include:
- Degree in core subjects or similar
- Experience working with secondary-aged children and challenging individuals
- High levels of professionalism
- Driver's license preferred
- Subject to an Enhanced DBS Check
Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
