Payroll Administrator Position

A highly skilled Payroll Administrator is sought after to support the existing team during a busy period. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll principles and practices, with proficiency in the use of payroll software (ACCESS experience highly advantageous).
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Payroll team in all relevant areas of payroll processing.
- Processing new starters on Access, recording RTW, and ensuring signed contracts are in place.
- Ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Providing cover for the Payroll team during absences.
- Maintaining good health and safety awareness.
- Adhering to guidelines and rules in the staff handbook.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A solid understanding of payroll principles and practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ACCESS experience highly advantageous).
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of relevant payroll legislation.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and resolving queries.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
