Administrative Accounts Specialist

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team at Pyramid Search, offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including payroll administration, sales ledger management, purchase ledger processing, bank reconciliation, and tax compliance.
You will work independently, utilizing your skills and experience to ensure accurate and efficient financial record-keeping. Experience with Sage 50 and other financial software is essential, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Duties:- Process Payroll: Accurate and timely payment processing, compliance with tax regulations, employee deductions.
- Manage Sales Ledgers: Record incoming sales invoices, issue payments, bank transfers, credit card payments, monitor customer accounts for overdue payments.
- Process Purchases: Record supplier invoices, maintain records of payments, reconcile transactions.
- Reconcile Bank Statements: Accurately record transactions, resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure Tax Compliance: Prepare VAT returns, submit tax filings on time.
