About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in supporting a young woman to achieve her full potential in her home in Blairgowrie.

No prior experience in care is required, as we provide comprehensive in-house training to all new staff members.

The ideal candidate will be active and enjoy engaging in various activities such as long walks, dancing, music, trampolining, and swimming, as well as indoor activities like arts and crafts and jigsaw puzzles.

At times, the Support Practitioner may need to manage challenging behavior, but despite this, there is a lot of fun and interaction in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and be part of a lively, warm, and talented young woman's life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities.
  • Administer and monitor medication as required.
  • Assist people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and arranging visits with the dentist/doctor.
  • Help individuals to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
