About the Role

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Insights and Intelligence Team in the South West Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanse and manage data (including processing) to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Quality assure data and analytical outputs following best practice guidelines to maintain high standards.
  • Integrate data feeds from disparate sources to provide a comprehensive view.
  • Respond to incoming requests for information in a timely and efficient manner to meet business needs.
  • Develop business intelligence reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Plan, design, manage, execute and report tests, using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Be highly numerate and use a variety of analytical techniques to provide high-quality, timely analysis and intelligence relating to key priorities.
  • Be adaptable when finding analytical solutions to problems, to analyse and triangulate data in innovative ways and present findings clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Log, analyse and manage problems in order to identify and implement the appropriate solution, ensuring that the problem is fixed.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
