Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher in providing a supportive learning environment, offering behaviour and pastoral support, and working closely with therapists to develop forward-planning strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a proactive approach, patience, and understanding. You should also be able to adapt to any situation and develop strong, positive relationships with students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Work collaboratively with therapists to develop forward-planning strategies

  • A degree in Criminology or a related field
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable children or young adults
  • An understanding of SEMH and its impact on individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
