Job Description:

In a Chorley SEN school, we are seeking a skilled Education Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality support to students with moderate to severe needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment, focusing on personal care, daily activities, and student engagement.

  • Deliver individualized care and support to students with diverse needs, including personal care tasks.
  • Assist teachers in developing and implementing individual learning plans tailored to each student's requirements.
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment that promotes positive interactions among students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs or a genuine interest in supporting this population.
  • Display compassion, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Flexibility to work within an agency role on a temporary, adaptable schedule.

Estimated Salary: £25-£30 per hour
