Senior Financial Reporting Manager

About this role
BlackRock's Client Experience Reporting Solutions team is responsible for delivering market-leading reporting solutions to our clients. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in formulating the successful delivery of critical investment reporting on complex products for our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading teams of up to 10 people, with responsibility for capacity planning and resource allocation
- Overseeing key monthly and quarterly reporting cycles for clients across Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Overseeing onboarding and implementation process for new clients, partnering with our client service, data stakeholders and onboarding team to build customized client reporting solutions
- Responsible for execution of relevant elements of Reporting Solutions strategic roadmap
- Contributing feedback and improvements to technology enhancement programmes; focus on roll-out of tools to solve reporting risk and inefficiencies and long-term improvement of the reporting product
- Learning and understanding new asset management concepts in order to contribute to reporting solution visualization
- Responsibility for deployment of controls and risk mitigation measures on team on a daily and regular basis to ensure successful client service.
- Developing strong networks with internal stakeholders to review and plan improvements to client data delivery
- Building the overall team culture in line with BlackRock principles and providing strong career pathways for talent
Requirements:
- Suggested 5-10 years experience in asset management with people management experience essential
- Strong skills in data visualization
- Experience in communication to wide audiences and ability to synthesize priorities through groups
- Tech first mindset and curiosity; experience solving problems through technology
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and suggest solutions
- Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines with strong emphasis on appropriate prioritization
- Experience in deployment of reporting tools or technology
- Use/knowledge of Python would be advantageous
