Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care, support, and education to autistic adult learners, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities that build essential knowledge and skills, promoting personal growth and development.
- Implement behaviour-based teaching strategies and interventions to encourage positive outcomes and growth, working closely with learners and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Support learners in maintaining personal hygiene and dignity, including assistance with toileting, dressing, and washing, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Facilitate participation in social, leisure, and educational activities within the local area, helping learners to develop their social skills and build relationships.
- Help learners access work experience and employment opportunities, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career aspirations.
- Track and monitor learners' progress, ensuring they receive personalized support and making adjustments as needed to meet their evolving needs.
