Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

This Fire Alarm Engineer position is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team at CV Library. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks on a varied customer base, from retail units to office blocks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carrying out a range of tasks from small works to commissioning, including installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems.
  2. Opportunity to carry out some larger installation work on projects for those with a desire to develop and enhance their install skills.
  3. Use existing knowledge and experience to fault find and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems.
  4. Offering a comprehensive service to our customers in accordance with British Standards in a defined area.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire System maintenance/installation/design or estimation.
  2. FIA Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Module.
  3. Experience of open/close protocol fire alarm systems.
  4. Electrical design with fire alarm element.
  5. Working knowledge of BS5839 & current Health & Safety legislation.
  6. The ability to work to time-sensitive deadlines.
  7. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  8. Full UK driving licence.

This is a Fire Alarm Engineer position which services London and surrounding areas. Ideally, you will be multi-disciplined in the fire industry from installation, commissioning, and small day work repairs.

Salary: £38-45k + commission + benefits
