Job Summary:
Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to oncology and hematology patients. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with board-certified oncologists and hematologists to deliver high-quality patient care, education, and support throughout the treatment and survivorship process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to oncology and hematology patients under the supervision of a board-certified oncologist/hematologist.
- Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with faculty and nursing staff to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment options.
Requirements:
- Active MA NP or PA license.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- MA board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG or PA.
- Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA.
- Current ONS Chemotherapy card.
- OCN certification within one year of employment.
- Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.
