Daytime Healthcare is seeking an experienced and confident Pharmacy Manager to join their team in a National Private Hospital Group in Kent.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements, and accepted professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians, and patients while ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
- Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments, while staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards.
- Promote a patient-focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high-quality healthcare service.
- Be GPHC registered, with no restrictions or conditions on your registration.
- Have a minimum of 4 years of post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level.
- Be able to analyze clinical and management problems and come up with viable solutions.
- Have experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for the service.
- Have experience of clinical leadership, such as developing peers.
- Clinical diploma desirable.
- Supervisory/Management qualification.
- Experience of working in partnership with consultants and across clinical teams.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience of independent sector.
