Loan Completions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Completions Manager to join our team at Pope Marshall. As a key member of our commercial lending operations, you will be responsible for managing the loan completion process, ensuring timely and accurate loan drawdowns, and maintaining a risk-aware culture.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day loan due diligence process, including loan offer documentation preparation and property valuations.
- Instruct and liaise with legal panel firms to ensure accurate and timely perfection of loan and security documentation.
- Own loan drawdown and payments processes, ensuring facility drawdowns and incoming payments are processed quickly and accurately.
- Develop and maintain loan completion and relevant post-completion processes and systems.
- Manage workflows to optimize resource use and proactively respond to change.
- Promote a risk-aware culture, ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including first-line relationship management, financial crime, and credit underwriting teams.
- Act fairly and responsibly in line with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and responsible lending principles.
- Coach and develop a team to achieve high levels of performance.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial lending, loan completion, and risk management. You should have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and be able to demonstrate knowledge of SME legal and valuation due diligence processes.
