Loan Completions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Completions Manager to join our team at Pope Marshall. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end loan completion process, ensuring timely and accurate loan drawdowns and payments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage loan documentation, due diligence, and payment processes to ensure loans are drawn down quickly and accurately.
- Lead a small team and be responsible for continually identifying ways to maximise customer and broker experiences.
- Develop and maintain loan completion and relevant post-completion processes and systems.
- Manage workflows to optimise use of resources and proactively respond to change.
- Promote a risk-aware and continuous improvement culture, ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices.
- Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the loan completion process operates efficiently.
- Act fairly and responsibly in line with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and responsible lending principles in all dealings with customers, brokers, and third-party service providers.
- Coach and develop a team to achieve high levels of performance.
- Experience of the end-to-end commercial lending application lifecycle, from application to decision through to completion, servicing, and post-completion activities.
- Knowledge and practical application of SME legal and valuation due diligence processes along with wider commercial risk issues.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of SME loan drawdown and payment procedures.
- Adept at leading a high-performing team, able to coach others to fulfil their full potential.
- Proactive and infectiously positive, with a strong desire to exceed expectations.

- Laser-focused attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
