Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Trainee Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of forensic psychology.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with complex mental health needs and a history of offending behaviour. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have access to comprehensive training and development opportunities.

As a Trainee Forensic Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services, including the implementation of new programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in psychology, with a recognized Master's degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR). They will also have previous experience working in clinical or forensic settings, and be willing to meet professional practice expectations and regulatory body codes of ethics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for patients
  • Facilitating therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions
  • Contributing to the development of our services, including program design and implementation
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals

Salary: £29,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include annual leave, pension contributions, life assurance, and career development opportunities.
