Clinical Lead Psychologist in Forensic Settings

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Lead Psychologist to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) at HMP Thameside, a category B resettlement prison in South-East London.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma. They will also have experience working in forensic mental health settings and delivering psychological interventions to cases of complexity.

The salary for this position is up to £60,926 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the IMHT
  • Develop and implement training programs for healthcare and prison staff
  • Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile
  • Deliver psychological interventions to cases of complexity
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
