About the Role

Atrium Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Peterborough and surrounding areas. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including residential, nursing, and clinical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the independence and well-being of service users.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, helping them to navigate mental health challenges.
  • Document all tasks, events, and notes clearly and in a timely manner, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Respond to emergency situations with speed, calmness, and professionalism, delivering basic life support when required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations.
