Family Lawyer Opportunity at RBUK Legal Limited

We are seeking a qualified Family Law Solicitor to join our team at RBUK Legal Limited. This role offers the chance to handle a varied family law caseload in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload involving divorce, financial remedy disputes, civil partnership disputes, and issues related to the rights of unmarried and cohabitating couples.
  • Undertake advocacy in family law cases, representing clients in court where necessary.
  • Provide high-quality legal advice to clients, ensuring that their needs and interests are protected throughout the legal process.
  • Participate in the firm's Legal Surgery sessions, which offer free advice to clients through drop-in sessions, as well as external advice sessions with local organisations.
  • Work closely with the Family Law Team to manage new enquiries and support ongoing matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory legislation and case law, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law changes.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Family Law Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE.
  • Experience in managing a varied family law caseload, including financial remedy disputes.
  • Strong advocacy skills and experience representing clients in court.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining excellent client care.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
