About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Mental Health Intensive Support Service in East Cheshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing intensive support to individuals with complex mental health needs, helping them to recover and regain the skills and confidence to live successfully in the community.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for working alongside our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality levels of care, ensuring that our patients engage in their agreed care plans and participate in local community services. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of care plans, identifying relapse indicators, and promoting independence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have recent relevant experience of working to support and integrate people with mental health issues towards recovery. You will also need to have experience of working within a mental health community setting, rehab setting, or equivalent. Additionally, you will need to have a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Equivalent.
