About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at VolkerWessels UK Ltd. As a key member of our Highways Team, you will be responsible for delivering major surfacing and public realm infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in site management, with experience in leading teams and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects. You will be responsible for managing resources, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects
  • Lead and motivate a team of site managers and engineers to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • NVQ 4 or equivalent
  • CSCS - Supervisor
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme - CITB or equivalent
