Service Desk Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Service Desk team as an Apprentice IT Service Desk Engineer. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in first line and some second line Service Desk tasks, including triaging incoming service requests, communicating with clients, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage incoming service requests via telephone and email
  • Communicate with clients verbally and written
  • Monitor and maintain the support email queue
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely

Requirements:

  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
