Service Desk IT Support Apprentice

We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Service Desk team as an IT Support Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in providing first-line and some second-line IT support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage incoming service requests via telephone and email
  • Communicate effectively with clients verbally and in writing
  • Monitor and maintain the support email queue
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely
Requirements:
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional office-based work

Subject to satisfactory completion of the apprenticeship, you will be offered a full-time role as a Service Desk Engineer. QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). To be eligible for a Government-funded apprenticeship, you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
