Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience), along with a comprehensive bonus scheme, one-to-one support from senior managers, and access to training opportunities.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Sales ledger, processing invoices, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate credit control. They will also identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to wider finance projects.
In addition, they will report and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and non-financial information to support service delivery and contractual commitments.
The role requires the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with our management team to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide insights to inform business decisions.
The Financial Operations Specialist will also be responsible for:
- Managing cash flow forecasts and preparing budgets
- Completing bank reconciliations and posting journals in Xero
- Creating balance sheet reconciliations and producing P&L reports
- Analyzing payroll costs and reconciling staff-related control accounts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Management Accounts role
- Previous experience in a service sector, preferably Social Care or NHS
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA and pursuing full qualification
