Job Title: SEN Tutor Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to support a pupil with complex SEMH needs.

As an SEN Tutor, you will deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions to students with SEMH SEN needs, ensuring engagement and progress in their learning.

The role offers a challenging but rewarding environment where you will play a vital part in ensuring the pupil has the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions to students with SEMH SEN needs.
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and needs.
  • Support students' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status
  • Experience of teaching pupils with severe learning difficulties and/or Autism Spectrum Conditions
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • A clear vision and understanding of the requirements of pupils with special educational needs
  • Ability to work with parents as partners
  • Personal resilience

Estimated Salary: £20-£30 per hour
