Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our Non Malignant Haematology team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor with UK experience in Haematology to gain focused experience in the clinical management of haemoglobinopathy and bleeding conditions.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of red cell haematology and bleeding disorders, including inpatient and outpatient work, haematology day case, ambulatory red cell exchange, perioperative management and obstetric haematology. The post holder will also play an active role in service improvement activity and independent audit.

The Non Malignant Haematology team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is a busy and dynamic department with a strong reputation for excellence in patient care. We are committed to providing high-quality training and development opportunities for our staff, and this role is an excellent opportunity for a doctor to gain experience in a specialist area of Haematology.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Haematology, with experience in red cell haematology and bleeding disorders. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be eligible for registration with the GMC and have MRCP or equivalent.
